Hello,

My name is Elena Altman and I would like to offer you to join us for some wine and hor’devours on behalf of Movie Making Throughout the Bay! Inc. (MMTB) and have a Power Meeting of the Minds at our Concord Production Office- Topic: Bay Area Filmmaking Economy.

MMTB is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission to put Bay Area indie filmmaking economy back on the map! We connect artists of all skill levels and provide a platform for people to express themselves, as well as create employment opportunities and training. We also partner with local student film organizations & disabled actors and filmmakers from the Adaptive College of the Arts to provide opportunities they wouldn’t usually have.

We have made over 200 short films, going on our 3rd feature film, and all within the last 4.5 years. Our combined network is over 20k filmmakers, actors and Bay Area industry professionals who have a passion to film, live, and work in the Bay Area, and not uproot their family and lives for Hollywood to do so.

As we speak 100’s of filmmakers are leaving the Bay Area in order to find work in this industry. This needs to change!

As MMTB reaches its fifth year of operation, we realize the importance of the input and experience of respected members of the community such as yourself.

We would like to invite you to join us along with other local Bay Area politicians, film commissions and corporate heads to our recently opened production office in Concord. Enjoy a few of our short films, and find out what we are up to as well as what the future holds for the industry. Our plan to get thousands of new jobs created in this sector has already slowly began to come to fruition. We welcome you to share your input and become part of our movement.
